I Am Considerably More Goth Than Thou
Ah, if only I'd have thought of this design a couple of weeks back - we could
have sold fuck loads when we supported the Damned. Oops, what was
that? I think I just dropped something.. Oh yes, a name.
Anyway, Goths. Dontcha just love 'em?
I know I do. In fact, I think I am about 50% Goth (I get called one enough
by the inbred mutants that walk the streets, so I must be). The other 50%
is Glam, in case you're interested. Well, it seems that Goths get a bum
rap from most people who think they can't laugh at themselves. Well,
certainly most of the ones I meet don't live up to the stereotypical version of
a Goth. The ones that piss me off are the ones that take themselves
waaaaaay too seriously. You know the type - had a sense of humour bypass
at birth, have probably changed their name to some obscure character from an
Anne Rice novel, attempt to speak in Ye Olde English whilst still living with
their mum's on a council estate. We had one of those numbskulls on our
message board recently. The cock. Soon gave him the boot.
Don't get me started on him..
I digress. I guess I should talk about this
design a bit. I think it's great. It proves you can have a chuckle
at yourself whilst, at the same time, providing me with no need to get a proper
job. Ta for that. It's also a bit of a play on that Harry Enfield
character - "I am considerably richer than yooow!" - so it's doubly
good.
