You're Never Alone With Schizophrenia
I was diagnosed with schizophrenia when I was 19. Took a while for the
doctors to determine it but, truth be told, I'd been in that state since I was
very young. Of course, I didn't know anything was wrong and, it was only
when I got older and spoke to others that I realised it wasn't normal for people
to have this constant companion. It kind of manifested itself in a really
bit way during my late teens / early twenties and it caused me to do some pretty
fucking crazy shit that I'd rather not go in to. Fortunately though, the
head doctor gave me some magic pills which seemed to put things under
control. Was pretty scary at the time though and now, when I look back on
it, it just seems totally bonkers. It must have been quite a mild
situation as, touch wood, it's not something I am affected by now, but I totally
get how it can make someone doolally. This T-shirt is true, by the way!
