Judge Me For Who I Am, Not What I Look Like
I can't remember if I told this story before but, as it is relevant to this design, I will tell it again.  I wish the 17 year old me could have had this tee.  Unfortunately, I was not yet Awesome enough to have created it.  Anyway, I stayed on to sixth form to avoid getting a job but I used to get very regular hassle from the Sixth Form Co-ordinator for the way I dressed.  I was pretty full-on in those days and it was quite frowned upon.  I was a bit pissed off though that this person who was supposed to be someone to respect had decided that I was a waste of space based purely on the way I looked.  In the end, I wrote this guy - Mr Crawford, that's it - a letter.  In this letter, I explained that I did not appreciate his narrow-mindedness and that he should learn to judge people not be the way they look, but by who they are.  I then ended with a warning: I enclosed a picture of Blackie Lawless from WASP, complete with his chainsaw codpiece and informed him that, if his attitude did not change, Mr Lawless would be my future fashion inspiration.  He got demoted shortly after that :)
