I was never into eating crayons, like some retarded kids are. I was more of a worm toddler myself. I could barely pass a worm without stuffing it into my face to see if it tasted as good as the last one. My particular favourites were the ones that came out of crunchy mud. Everyone knows that crunchy mud is waaaaaaay nicer than soft or smooth mud and it just added a certain je ne c'est quoi to proceedings. I would still quite happily eat worms today - fried, upon toast - if it weren't for the fact that they don't sell them in Tesco's. I'm not an outdoorsy sort and the thought of rummaging around in any undergrowth that is not pants related is quite horrific. I don't do mud anymore. Worms taste wormy, by the way.
