I Am So Motherfucking ROCK - 
I had one of those Birthday things recently and received, amongst other things, the Anvil book. It inspired me to go out and buy the Anvil movie on DVD. If you are unfamiliar with the story, these guys started playing together at 14 years old, swearing that they would always rock together. Over the next bunch of years, they started Anvil which was, in the early 80's, a hugely influential band - especially to the "big 4" of Thrash - Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth. They kind of then disappeared but never went away. They had to watch as others copied their style and went on to make huge careers and bank balances from it whilst they went further and further into obscurity, having to get day jobs to fund their dream. Fast forward a couple of decades and one of their early fans gets back in touch, except he is no longer a 15 year old headbanger but a 30-something writer in Hollywood!? He finds out that Anvil are still going and, touched by their devotion and dedication to both their dream and eachother, he decides to make a movie about them. The film is funny, embarrassing, touching and really good. I truly hope that Anvil now get the success they deserve: they are the inspiration behind this design!
